The following is a recent encounter I had with a wonderful
young women. The sad thing is she is living a lie in life and

is a serious cheater and had a fiancee at the time). I talked
to a few people I know asking them for advice on if I should
tell the young women or not. I still didn't know her very
well and did not want to cross any lines seeing how she was
a co-worker. Everyone advised me not to mention anything
about my boss and his cheating habits to her.
Well when I am around someone I am attracted to I am always
keeping a eye on them. To me she seemed like a very happy person,
but there was also a slight hint of sadness. I finally got
into a place where I could talk to her one on one and flat out
told her that my boss was engaged and that he did not have
any intention of doing anything other then fucking her.
I thought she was going to smack me, but instead she opened
right up and told me that the guy she had been dating in high
school cheated on her the whole time for the two years they
dated. She was still heart broken about it and it showed,
it made me thankful that I told her about my boss's intentions
otherwise a fragile person would have been shattered even
more.
After that she started flirting a little more and more.
I took the liberty of sending her a dozen rose (eleven yellow
and one red) to her at work (Yellow roses in that instance
are a flower that represents friendship, and the red represents
love or respect or both). I made the choice cause I did not
know if I wanted to date her and I did not want her to get the
wrong idea. (Us helpless romantics often do things in meaning,
we don't spell it out though it is something you have to find
out on your own and that is how we often judge if they are the
right women or not).
Well the stupid flower company did not deliver the card
so she had no idea who exactly the flowers came from. I had
sent them without my name attached with the simple message
"not all guys are jerks" which was appropriate based on
the bad experiences she had/has had. I approached her that
night to let her know I had sent them (and that is where she
messed up). I sent them to cheer her up and it did just that!
The second I told her it was me who sent them she literally
lit up like a Christmas tree. At that moment she took the
liberty to tell me that "No man had ever sent her anything
before without her having to do something first to earn
them".
Well that was a BIG mistake to say to a guy like me. While many
other guys might suddenly jump on her like a animal thinking
he can get laid, it had the reverse on me. All I could think
was how awful it is that this beautiful young twenty year
old women had encountered such crappy guys as to her having
to earn something so simple as a gift. It actually nearly
brought tears to my eyes, but at the last minute I realized
that she was aware of her having to "earn" them. Obviously
she didn't mind having to earn them which leaves the possibility
of her not being truthful.
The conversation dropped and I went back to work and did
not ask her out even though it really was a totally perfect
moment to do so. Less then a hour later she was coming back
by my area... She got to nearly a arms reach of me and suddenly
decided to take of her sweatshirt. Her back arched like
she was trying to show off her breasts and as she was sliding
her arm out of the sleeve she dropped some papers she had
in one of her hands on the ground. At which point she literally
stopped to say "Aww look what I did". Well it is not the first
time she has dropped something in front of me, and never
before had she made such a statement after it happened.
That was another mistake, it was obvious she was trying
to see if I would pick them up for her. Well I did "not" it may
be that it was a random accident but i don't think it was.
i think she was testing to see how far she could walk on me

I love helping people but I do "not" do it cause I have to.
I do it cause I want to and won't do it if it looks like that
is what the person is aiming for. Based on her age and actions
earlier I would say she was aiming for just that.

such a thing to us then your chances are slim to none. Remember
a helpless romantic is looking at personality more then
your body. If you receive a gift from a romantic or passionate
person then I want you to know that we don't expect a thank
you, a simple smile is far more then enough. We care about
your reaction and not your words in that particular situation.
Never allow yourself in a situation like she did after she
received that gift. It seemed she was taking advantage
of the kindness I had just displayed.

thing in any relationship. It also gives us a chance to test
you! If your legitimate and honest about your feelings
it is a big plus. If you are shy and reserved it is a big turn
off. You won't notice us checking you out, but I assure you

a helpless romantic is going to steer away from you!
